Brennan has arrived!

In a surprise development Christa began having pain early in the day (Sunday) and they continued to worsen until around 5pm when they decided to call the doctor for advice. Dr. Gregory suggested they come in to the hospital and it a good thing they did. You'll have to ask Andrew for the proper terms but for us layman, she seemed to be losing blood(low platelette count) so the decided for the health of both of them, they needed to go in and get Brennan out ASAP so she was quickly rushed to the operating room and at approximately 10pm Brennan was born. He is 5lbs 9.5 ounces and 19 3/4 inches long. He was a little slow to respond at first (possibly due to the magnesium sulfate that they had given Christa previously, but all his other signs seemed good. He WAS a little low on blood as well. Andrew is estatic and Christa was still in quite a bit of pain but was holding up very well under the circumstances. Brennan seems about perfect and really doesn't look that small considering he was almost 6 wks premature. He's got some dark hair and Andrew seems to think he is well hung! ;-) Check back soon and we'll have some pictures posted.
