In 1963 my life joined with the Harris clan. I was raised with 10 siblings, so Herb's family of 5 kids was to me "small".
I remember clearly that 1st Thanksgiving we all had together we fit around one table. In that group was: Gr Buddy, Gr Rosie, Rita, Elmer and baby Ann, Linda, Jerry, Joe & Vicki and of course Herb and yours truly.
A grand total of 11!!
And look at us now!! I counted 53,
but you could challenge me on that number, it could be more.
The beautiful part of this story is that we all love and respect each other. I can't think of any group of people I would rather spend my time with and I have felt this way for over 43 years.
This story doesn't have an ending. With each wedding and each birth we keep adding another chapter, and although there are a couple of chapters I wish I could rewrite, I wouldn't change any of the characters. My love to THE FAMILY.
